Part 2 of the Hunger Series!

Do you ever feel like you want to go back to school? No, seriously. Because you now know exactly what classes you would take because you know EXACTLY what interests you and gets you excited.

I went to a Global Leadership Summit a while back and one of the speakers, Bill Hybels, said something that really resonated with me. And that was: 'Do you know who is responsible for filling your passion bucket? You.'

Whoa. That hit me hard. I am 100% guilty of expecting my managers and colleagues to be filling my passion bucket. For getting me excited and motivated in the work world. And I believe that's part of  why I like being involved with small group training so much. Having others around you to help motivate and push you.

So I encourage you to start filling your own passion bucket. You may be thinking, how the heck am I supposed to do that?

Well for one, I am hoping to make this website a place to go for a little motivation - picker upper! But here are 5 ways that I use to continue to fill my passion bucket:

5 Ways to Fill Your Passion Bucket

1. Read read read!

There are so many books out there! Whatever your passion may be, I am sure that are plenty of books to read to help fuel the fire. Otherwise, there are tons books out there that will help regarding motivation. I just got done reading You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life --> Link here.

2. Attend conferences pertaining to your niche.

Or not pertaining to your niche even. Just leadership and self help conferences. A lot of people think these are 'super cheesy' - and believe me I am sure there are a lot of those out there. But there are a lot of great ones too! Like I mentioned above, the Global Leadership Summit was AMAZING.

3. Find a mentor.

And meet with them on the regular. I have multiple mentors in my life for certain areas of my life. They get excited about the same things as I do and when I need the best advice - I ask them.

4. Set Aside 1 hour a day to do what you love.

Take care of yourself and your passion. Take an hour a day - schedule it in your day - and do it. This will make you so much happier - don't you feel good when you are doing something that you are passionate about?

5. Share your niche!

People are interested in your passions! Sharing will make you even more passionate -- especially since you will get feedback from others about how they are passionate too or how you helped them with whatever you shared!
